We go out and educate several schools this school year.  In late 2008 early 2009, the LEPC now conducts tabletop drill fo schools.

Because of a generous grant from the RACC we were able to provide safety kits to 25 schools in Corpus Christi, Texas and Nueces County.    These kits consisted of the following items:  Large towel, water, masking tape, duct tape, radio, flashlight and bucket.  All the schools that received these kits are required to have a tabletop drill at their location.

The individuals were some of the volunteers that assisted us during the process of organizing the kits and then distributing over 1000 kits throughout Nueces County.

The LEPC hosted a full scale drill in 2010.  Annaville VFD, Corpus Christi Fire Department, RTFC, Police Department, Bluntzer Fire Department, Tuloso Midway School District, Northwest Library, Industry, Hospitals, Halo Flight and several other entities came together to participate in this drill, which was held throughout the city.
